Travel and Housing Information

We are delighted to welcome everyone to CSI 2022 - whether you’re returning again or joining us for the first time. To help you make your travel plans, we’ve gathered information for you regarding housing, travel, and transportation services.

Registration and Check-In

  • Check-In will open at 12:00 PM until 9:00PM on Saturday, June 11 and open 9:00AM through 9:00PM on Sunday, June 12th. Attendees can begin checking into their on-campus housing during that block of time.
  • Please note that there is NO onsite registration.
  • Registration will close on June 10th.
  • If you are joining us for only the Marching Arts Intensive, check-in will open at 10:00 AM on Wednesday June 15th. On-campus housing will be available for both events from June 11th through June 18th.

The opening session begins at 1:30 PM on Sunday June 12th and the closing session concludes by 12:30 PM on Wednesday, June 15th.

On-Campus housing provided by Bethel University is available. Reservations for on-campus housing must be made when you register for the event. Please note that there is a limit of 250 housing placements available. Bethel University is located at 1001 Bethel Circle, Mishawaka IN 46545.

Rate is $40/night for a double occupancy room with a shared restroom. The University will provide bed lines, towel, wash cloth, and access to the exercise facility on campus.

Prefer to stay off campus?

We recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites or Hyatt Place. Both hotels have offered Conn Selmer Institute and Marching Arts Intensive attendees a special rate of $89 per night. Visit their websites to learn more about amenities. Please make your travel arrangements soon to lock in the special rates, which end May 10th, 2022.

A third alternative is Holiday Inn Mishawaka. Call their front desk at (574) 258-4408. We currently do not have a group rate for this hotel at this time.

Limited shuttle service to and from campus to the hotels is provided.

Bethel University is located in the South Bend-Mishawaka Metropolitan Area. To help you navigate your arrival and ground transportation, we’ve gathered a list of resources.


Two airports serve the Mishawaka area - South Bent International Airport and Midway International Airport. The South Bend International Airport is a short 20-minute drive from Bethel University. Midway International Airport is approximately an hour and 45 minutes from Bethel University. If you would prefer to fly into Chicago, Midway is your best option. Please keep in mind that Chicago is on Central Time and Bethel University is on Eastern Time as this will impact travel plans.

Shuttle Services

Limited free shuttle service will be provided to and from the airport, Bethel University, Hampton Inn and Hyatt Place. Please note that this is limited by the schedule posted – if your travel plans and accommodations are outside of the scope of our service, we encourage you to make ground transportation plans in advance as Mishawaka is a small town.
